Qt Runtime Information (Linux package)
======================================

Disc DNA dynamically links to the Qt 6 Core, GUI, and Widgets libraries
provided by the host distribution. No Qt binary or Qt plugin is included in
this DEB or RPM. The package dependency metadata selects the compatible runtime
packages.

The Disc DNA package contains the LGPL-3.0 and GPL-3.0 texts required for its
use of the Qt libraries, plus a prominent Qt notice in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
The system Qt packages remain responsible for the copyright, licensing, source,
and third-party-attribution information for the Qt binaries they distribute.

Fedora
------

Identify the exact packages supplying the runtime libraries with:

  rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libQt6Core.so.6 /usr/lib64/libQt6Gui.so.6 \
      /usr/lib64/libQt6Widgets.so.6

On Fedora, the qt6-qtbase package provides its license texts under
/usr/share/licenses/qt6-qtbase and its Qt Base software bill of materials
under /usr/lib64/qt6/sbom/. Use Fedora's source RPM repositories to obtain the
corresponding Qt source package.

On a non-64-bit Fedora installation, use the library path reported by
`rpm -ql qt6-qtbase` instead of /usr/lib64.

Debian and Ubuntu
-----------------

To identify the installed Qt runtime packages and their distribution source
packages, run:

  dpkg-query --show --showformat='${binary:Package} ${Version}\n' \
    libqt6core6 libqt6core6t64 libqt6gui6 libqt6widgets6

Use the distribution's source repositories or package archive to obtain the
source associated with those runtime packages. This package does not impose an
upstream Qt version requirement.
